Top Row - Coach Flynn, Carter, Welch, Tm Mgr Murphy / Middle Row - Henry, Walker, Dane, Isaac, Jake, Andrew / Bottom Row - William, Sophie, Nolan, Thomas, Mark
The Assabet Valley 2004's posted an incredible record of 21-0-1 in the Mite Minor American Division this 2011-12 Season.  The 2004's averaged nearly 9 goals a game and only allowed 2.6 goals a game without a full time goalie.  They had the NEHL best RPI of 5.8.   Down the stretch everyone in the division was gunning to undo the undefeated season, getting great competition from the likes of the Boston Advantage, Boch Blazers, and New Hampshire Avalanche.  The 2004's won their first 14 league games before gaining a tie in game 15 with a late goal by the Boch Blazers on Christmas Eve.  Since the tie, the 2004's finished the season with 6 NEHL wins in a row.  The 2004's competed in the Elite Division in 3 tournaments. Each tournament pitted the 2004's against the best competition in the Northeast outside of the NEHL. They played against the Flames, Kings, Capitals, Breakers, and Bandits.  If you see the 2004's around the rink, give them a big high five for a great UNDEFEATED season! Congratulations to the 2004's; Sophie Ensley, Dane Carter, Jake Murphy, Andrew Welch, Mark Evangelous, Walker Pasalis, Henry Burnham, Thomas Argento, the 2005's; William Vote, Nolan Flynn, and Isaac Mitchell, the Coaches; Greg Carter, Kevin Flynn, and Murray Welch, and the friends and families who supported the kids!

PEEWEE MINORS PREPARE FOR FENWAY PARK APPEARANCE

The Assabet Valley Peewee Minors (2000's) will be celebrating the New Year with a game the players, coaches and parents will never forget.  On Tuesday, Jan. 3, the Patriots will face the Middlesex Braves at Fenway Park!  The "Peewee Winter Classic" will feature two teams that faced one another earlier this season in another historic venue, the 1980 rink at the Olympic Center in Lake Placid, NY.

To further add to the excitement, cameras from the New England Sports Network (NESN) will follow the Patriots from the locker rooms to the ice as the players skate in the shadow of baseball's legendary Green Monster.  The network will show scenes of the event during its coverage of the Hockey East "Frozen Fenway" doubleheader on Jan. 7.

Skating outdoors on the hallowed grounds of Fenway Park at dusk promises to be the thrill of a lifetime, and the matchup between the Patriots and Braves promises to be a good one.  At last check, the Patriots sat atop the National Conference of the New England Hockey League with an unbeaten 15-0-4 conference record, while the Braves were in first place in Hockey Northeast.

Wish the Patriots luck as they get ready to take the ice at Frozen Fenway!
